CDV is governed by a Committee of Volunteers.

Our Constitution

Court Dogs Victoria is a Non for Profit Organisation which will place highly trained Trauma Support Dogs into areas of the Legal and Justice Profession and agencies working with people suffering grief and trauma, through violent crimes. Thereby helping to alleviate the possibility of re-traumatisation.

Our Purpose

Court Dogs Victoria will fundraise and accept donations for the purpose of:

  • Costs incurred in training dogs to an acceptable level.
  • Costs associated with a breeding program, or the costs of purchasing puppies.
  • Placing dogs in agreed agencies.
  • Training both dogs and new handlers, for 'agreed' agencies.
  • Covering Veterinary care, boarding, and food expenses.
  • Covering Pet insurance for puppies/dogs until placed in an agency.
